IGN : My IGN in _Articous__
AGE : I am 14 years old.
WHY : (full 7 lines) I've been Staff alot now, i would like to join the team because of one reason all of my knowledge about moderating and administrating i want to share all of them to the team but its not enough if we had unity to ourselves we can succeed, we cannot be a team if someone is not cooperating and we should not be selfish too we should accept everyone's cooperation and thats the team we called.Argument is the most common problem in the team as a player to prevent it i always balance my relations to them and respect what they decide for others, .I'm mature enough to be a staff i'm not here to became famous and powerful i'm here to help the server for its brighter future, i will be the shield and justice of this server, yes i'm 14 years old and since i'am 13 years old i already understand how the server works, what administrators and moderators do, i really understand all of it, its really hard to picked a staff who is trustfull because if someone promoted to staff we don't know what will they do to the server they maybe hack the server, ban all players and abuse staff, for me all of those are for immature people who really don't care anything about their surroundingsI have had lots of experience with server moderation.
Some of the servers I have been staff on were almost as big or a bit smaller than this server. The first server I would like to talk about is SpartanCraft. SpartanCraft was a server that launched about 2-3 years ago, when I was first starting Minecraft. I played on there everyday after school, and applied to be a moderator. Keep in mind, this server is a survival server. At the time, the server was averaging around 7-10 people on at a time, which was pretty big to me at the time. After I applied, I was accepted and was a moderator. I had thought of some good things to help benefit the server such as a few minigames like spleef and parkour. Because of me making the server more interesting not only to the regular player-base, but to the staff and owner as well, I earned myself Admin. Whilst my time being admin, I built a few PvP arenas and the server had started to gain more popularity. During my time of being Admin, the server hopped up to about 15 players on at a time and I was happy with the way the server was. Unfortunately, the server has since then shut down because of a bug that was found in some of the plugins.
The next server I would like to bring up is KillingZone. KillingZone was created about 1.5 years ago, a server that I had found on Planetminecraft. Once I joined the server, I played on there for about 1-3 months, then applied for the Helper position. I was logging on one day and found out that I had been promoted and I was enlivened. This was the first semi-large server that I had been staff on. At the time of my promotion, the server was averaging a steady 20-30 players. As the server grew over time and I helped, it grew at its max point containing 50 steady players. With 50 active players, there were only 4 staff members. The owner, an administrator, a moderator and a helper, being me. The only staff who were really active on the server was the moderator, myself and the owner. The administrator didn't seem to show up too often, I figured he was just doing plugin work. This server taught me how to stay calm while being barraged with questions and other things affiliated with the server. The server has since then shut down because the owner couldn't compile enough money to pay for the server bill.
The upcoming server I'd like to talk about is Daegonner. Daegonner launched in august of 2012 and I have played on it since then. When Daegonner first launched, it was averaging around 100 players at a time. I played on Daegonner almost everyday for around 2 years, given that I would go for a reset and come back. I was promoted to Helper soon after making my application. Daegonner has taught me how to deal with people who flame consistently and people who try to get a rise out of other people by insulting or other things like that. Daegonner is currently still up, and I am still staff on it, but it does not have very many players on.
The final server I would like to bring up has been my all-time favorite server to be staff on. This server was called Dragon-Storms PvP. On DragonStorms, I started playing around late 2013, early 2014. I played on this server consistently and showed that I was committed to helping the server grow and gain popularity. After applying on the forums when the server had around 40 players on, I was accepted. As the server grew, I grew into a more mature, helping person. At the beginning of my staffing term, I wasn't totally mature enough to handle some of the content that would come up on the server, but as time grew, my maturity level grew and I got to the point to where I could handle things that require a higher maturity level. I was promoted to moderator after proving that I was going to be consistently active and helping in the community. At this point, the server was averaging around 100 players and they were all fairly active. I was on at almost anytime that I could get on. Since the player to staff count was not proportionate, other staff were recruited. But during the time of not having very many staff, I had lots of people asking me questions, asking for Buycraft help and trying to get me to catch hackers. Through all this, I learned how to prioritize my issues, first starting with Buycraft help, then in-game server help, then going to inspect who was "hacking" at the PvP arena. I can use the prioritizing skills on reboot to help players who are in need. Soon after helping out for a long time, I was promoted to administrator and was given an immense job. My job was to increase the server's popularity with around $250 in donations. I decided I would buy an advertising slot on a Minecraft server listing website. The weekend I bought it, it was about $60 per hour and I rented the slot for 4 hours and returned $10 back to the owner. I will never forget that weekend. During that weekend, the popularity sky-rocketed from a descent 100 players to an enormous 200-250 players. All of the 8 staff members consisting of moderators and helpers were on to aid us administrators in helping.
Overall, my staffing experience has been a journey of learning. I have learned how to work with people and I have developed very good people skills, meaning I can work with people, compensate and help people. I can also multitask, by helping a certain player with one issue and helping a different player with another problem.
If i compare myself from others i accept any kind of help or question even its irrelevant to the server.I've been staff a lot now and since i became a staff i never had an argument because i Respect. We know that its hard to forgive but for me forgiving solves the problem you know why? Because forgive is to forget we should let thing go we don't need to fight we are not children any more we are the one who teaches them. This server need mature staffs because being mature is depending on what we think and how deeply we respond to others by using our mind and heart. As an experienced staff my will is for better future and peace will overhelm the mind of the players.
